Hi! This is sulz, a twenty-something soon-to-be-English-graduate living in Malaysia, who is about to embark on a journey to self-discovery this summer. A natural klutz physically and occasionally verbally. bloggerdygook is her personal blog, where she writes about whatever she fancies. And stuff she can’t say anywhere else (so basically you’re reading her deepest, darkest secrets!).

4 Things To Know About When Reading bloggerdygook:

  1. Comments are unmoderated. sulz believes in the freedom of speech, even if it means putting in public a comment that she dislikes.
  2. Sometimes when sulz uses the pronoun you, she doesn’t mean you the reader but you the person she has in mind. It’s all about context, so hope nobody gets confused!
  3. Occasionally you will find posts tagged Personal in which she basically beats herself up mentally. Please don’t worry, she just does it to get it out of her system. She’s usually very genial otherwise.
  4. The readership of bloggerdygook is pretty small; stats hover around the 100-hit mark. Nevertheless, it is blessed with some vocal regular readers who definitely adds life to the place. It’s like going to the Chocklit Shoppe (Archie comics, anyone?) and sulz is Pop Tate. It has been said that comments are a blog’s currency, so please feel free to leave one!

sulz is crazy about bookmarks and postcards, chocolate and cows.

    I loved the anti-’txt tlk’ message. I’m sorry I can’t resist putting it up…may I?

sulz: go ahead! it doesn’t belong to self, ripped it off from someplace else too.

Beautiful graphics layout for your Blog ! :-)

sulz: thanks, but it’s not self’s own css doing, sadly. just copied straight off sunburntkamel’s site, who ported this theme [bus full of hippies] into sandbox.

Hey Sulz, been reading your blog for sometime now and it’s really cool. Plus you’ve used the CSS upgrade really well. Yours is one of the neatest blogs I’ve ever seen in my life.

    Keep up the good work!

sulz: wow, what did self do to deserve such a compliment? but thanks a lot! :) as for the css, it’s all thanks to sunburntkamel who ported the theme into sandbox - merely copied the css!

hey, your piano half of the header is really nice!

Did you delibrately increase the font size or did it just happen? I think it looked better with the small font.

sulz: haha, yes, and also the font type. the other font matches the theme well, but am itching for a little change. ;) there’s always ctrl + scroll!

That’s fine, nothing is permanent except change. On second thoughts, this statement totally doesn’t make any sense in here :))

sulz: that’s right, and am not so fond of changes despite it being so. nope, not much sense, but who cares! :)

I found your blog through the Forum. Really love your CSS. Good job! :) And I support the “Save the vowels” movement too.

sulz: hi, thanks. :) just copied and pasted what sunburntkamel ported actually. if you support the save the vowels movement, feel free to copy and paste that gif in your blog!

oooh i support good grammar too! :D huzzah huzzah. long live pedantic english usage by folk like ourselves. thanks for dropping by my blog :)

sulz: likewise re blog. :) feel free to swipe the grammar gif, we must overrun those bunch of bloggers who eat their vowels (and some consonants) as alphabet soup.

You have a very nice blog, very different from others. It’s great to be able to modify the CSS. Makes we wanna change too. Haha. Thanks for dropping by my blog.

sulz: thanks! it is, and at $15 a year it’s not too bad, but better to have some knowledge in css before actually getting it. and likewise. :)

    sulz: thanks! you too. :)

Nice to see the ‘Save the Vowels’ banner elsewhere. Never noticed you had it up as well! Wish more people cared about it!

I like this CSS a lot, but I think I prefer the one you had a while back. Either way, keep it up. :)

sulz: heh, swiped it off cornell’s blog actually. the hobbit was nice, but it was time for a change. thanks for dropping by! :)

    Hi…

Wonderrrfulll template…I’m in love with it….did you create this yourself? If yeah, is it available for download/use…? If not, can I get this anywhere…if you wouldn’t mind telling…?

    Wow again. Happy blogging!

sulz: thank you. i did not create this, and it’s available for download if you search. the theme is called bus full of hippies, but the blogspot version has a different name, i believe. :)

  18. Posted February 19, 2008 at 2:32 am | Permalink

Does a blogspot version exist for this theme…in case you happen to know?

sulz: yes, but i don’t know the name.

  19. Posted February 19, 2008 at 3:05 am | Permalink

@Sanyukta: Sulz should be answering this but I am. Yeah, a blogspot version for this theme does exist. There’s this girl called “Nidhi” in my blogroll. She was using this theme not so long back so maybe you could ask her and she’ll tell you.

sulz: good! ‘cos i didn’t know the answer anyway, haha.
