Wish You Were Here Project

My latest blogging project!

Now, if you’ve been reading bloggerdygook recently, you’d know I’m going for a summer course at a mystery country which I have yet to tell you dear readers about. (Soon! ;) ) So, what I’m going to do is to visit the lovely tourist spots around the state I’m staying, and take a snapshot of what beautiful scene I come across with a placard saying “Wish (your name) was here!”

That’s it. That simple. Wish You Were Here. Because I really do wish that I’d be able to share with you what I’m about to experience - and I would, but it may take me a while before I’m able to put on my blog what I’ve written in a journal I will keep specially for this trip. That way, when I am struck by a beauty of a place that reminds me of you, I may not be able to tell you immediately about it, but hopefully I can capture that in a picture that says how much I do wish you were here with me. :)

So, if you want a placard, please register yourself by leaving a comment in this page. That’s it! :) Oh, there is also the option of receiving a postcard if you want to, in which case I will make your postcard a placard and then mail to you the very thing in the picture! I will try to mail the postcard from there, but if I’m not able to I will do it when I get back home. I will put the pictures up in my coming posts; if possible, in July, if not, in August when I am back and blogging regularly.

Okay, that’s really it. Leave a comment here if you want one! :)

Registration is closed as of 28 June 2008, sorry. :(

Macau?!? Is that where you’re going? Did this just slip out, or is that how you intend to tell us, with a little reference on raincoaster’s comment? I think she is MUCH older than I am ;) so it’s probably respect for elders that you let her know first! I’ve heard it’s beautiful and fascinating there. Do your parents know there is lots of gambling? …so many questions

sulz: oh no… :( i ruined my own surprise!

About bloggerdygook

Gobbledygook on bloggerdygook consists of mostly pondering thoughtfulness, often angry madness, sometimes appreciative gratefulness, rarely zany loopiness, but always totally sulz. :) Profane bookish couch potato shopaholic-wannabe trying to love herself and the people around her every day. Still neurotic, masochistic, emetophobic, chocoholic, but no longer schizophrenic!
