blogging gobbledygook and such

Look at the sign, (edit: allegedly) found in Japanese metro trains.

Who exactly should be given seating priority in the train?

An excited passenger? Two passengers in the throes of lust? A passenger who cannot resist letting out a couple?

The first image is supposed to show a person with an injured arm.

The second image is supposed to show a person holding a child.

The third image is supposed to show a pregnant woman.

The fourth image is supposed to show a person with an injured leg.

A little funny brought to you from sulz’s inbox.

  1. and see, here i thought it was a cause and effect diagram:
if you’re excited on the train, and you hump another passenger, you’re going to get pregnant, but there’s a hole in the seat, you can deliver right here on the train.

or something. complete life cycle on one train ride.

sulz: haha, didn’t see it that way! all in one train ride? that must have been one premature birth… 0_o

  2. Wow… totally insane… 😛 We Montrealers have dull and understandable pictures…

sulz: dull and understandable pictures are the only way to go. what if someone was actually dumb enough to think it’s okay to have an erection in the train?!

  3. Photo-shopped?
Live in Japan, never seen a sign like that.

sulz: hmm, it could be. are you japanese?

  4. smacks of hoax to me

sulz: but it’s funny! though probably not to japanese people…

  5. haha, seen it earlier too, it’s amazing 😀

sulz: it’s amazing… and absolutely fake! judging by the comments received above.

  6. No sulz, I’m not Japanese. I have been living here for about 10 years tho’ – and yet to see a sign that looks like that. I *could* photograph a real one for you, if you like.

sulz: ah, thought you might be. thank you for offering, but am sure they’d look as normal as the ones can find anywhere else in trains around the world! 😛

  7. […] for a long time just to come with a sign that means one thing to you but another to others. These signs are alleged to be found in Japanese metro trains. So, how would you design a sign that says that you are supposed to give your seats to someone who […]

  8. o_O okayy that is some funny picture you see on trains. Are you sure it’s not editted?

sulz: well, did edit the post to include the word allegedly.

  9. This is hilarious! When I first saw it I thought the same the last commenter did.

Stiffy –> Someone helps relieve it –> She gets pregnant –> She delivers. (after all if the last image is an injured leg, why is she pregnant?)

sulz: injured the leg from pregnancy? 😆
