sulz is just a sucker for quizzes. However, this quiz is pretty good in her opinion. According to her personality type,

ISFJs are traditional, loyal, quiet and kind. They are very sensitive to other people’s needs because they are very observant. They have rich inner thoughts and emotions. They value stability and cultural norms. They are very adept at giving attention to detail. They do not seek positions of authority.

ISFJs are characterized above all by their desire to serve others, their “need to be needed.”

modest, not confrontational, easily hurt, observer, prone to crying, not spontaneous

ISFJs have a rich inner world that is not usually obvious to observers. They constantly take in information about people and situations that is personally important to them, and store it away. This tremendous store of information is usually startlingly accurate, because the ISFJ has an exceptional memory about things that are important to their value systems. It would not be uncommon for the ISFJ to remember a particular facial expression or conversation in precise detail years after…

The primary desire of the Protector SJ is to be of service to others, but here “service” means not so much furnishing others with the necessities of life, as guarding others against life’s pitfalls and perils, that is, seeing to their safety and security.

Famous ISFJs personalities:

1. Alfred, Lord Tennyson – poet
2. Barbara Bush – American First Lady
3. Louisa May Alcott – novelist
4. Mother Theresa – missionary nun
5. Queen Elizabeth II – Queen of England

Err, never thought would have anything in common with people like Mother Theresa and Queen E?!

If you think personality quizzes are hogwash, maybe you might appreciate a more humourous take on how is your personality revealed by creating your own pig!

sulz made her pig blue, and this is what it says about her. (Hey, it was actually kind of spot on!)

Comments on: "What’s your personality type?" (11)

  1. Everytime I do Myers-Briggs based tests I come out totally different. Today I am mostly ENFP (The Advocate):

ENFPs are introspective, values-oriented, inspiring, social and extremely expressive. They actively send their thoughts and ideas out into the world as a way to bring attention to what they feel to be important, which often has to do with ethics and current events. ENFPs are natural advocates, attracting people to themselves and their cause with excellent people skills, warmth, energy and positivity. ENFPs are described as creative, resourceful, assertive, spontaneous, life-loving, charismatic, passionate and experimental.

    Who knows what tomorrow brings.

They actively send their thoughts and ideas out into the world as a way to bring attention to what they feel to be important, which often has to do with ethics and current events.

sulz: spot on in context of your blog! quizzes are just for fun you know? you have to take the results with a pinch of salt. they’re like horoscopes.

  2. My pig said:

Your choice of background shows that you are responsible, straightforward and a realist but can sometime appear confrontational and challenging.

The direction your pig is facing indicates you being traditional and friendly, you have a great memory for birthdays and important dates.

The amount of detail in your pig means you are analytical, cautious and sometimes suspicious.

Because your pig has four legs, some may say you are stuck in your ways but actually this reflects your strong beliefs and your stubbornness in defending them.

The larger the pig’s ears, the better listener you are.

The longer your pig’s tail, the better your sex life – need we say more!

    Nice piggy…

sulz: so what colour was your pig and how long was the tail? and of course, how large were the ears?

  3. the pig was pinkish, the tail was LONG and the ears were big πŸ˜‰

    sulz: hmm… !

  4. I know I am completely nuts anyway. πŸ™‚

sulz: haha no you’re not. raincoaster is. *whispers* πŸ˜›

I am an INTP – the engineer. What the. Hahaha.
(You can see it here http://lovelyloey.mypersonality.info/)

The pig thing was …. well I created a pink pig against a green background. Apparently I am supposed to be a warm and nice person, yadayada, good with birthdates and anniversaries (which I am not!) So there, I took it with a pinch of salt.

sulz: but you didn’t tell how long your tail was! memang this kind of things you have to take with a pinch of salt.

  6. Okay, I didn’t really check out the website but the things the pig said cracked me up. I especially loved the part that said, “Because your pig has four legs”.

I don’t remember seeing a pig with less or more than 4 legs so it’s funny πŸ˜›

And what’s also funny is that almost all of us bloggers turn out to be introverted in these tests even though a lot more number of people read about our thoughts than a normal person’s would. Don’t you think?

sulz: maybe some people lean towards three-legged pigs you know? πŸ˜†

maybe because the real extroverts live life instead of think about life? am sure you have friends who lead pretty exciting lives but won’t blog about it – something to that effect.

  7. Ooh, I just didn’t read the longer your pigs tail part! Seems like you have a good sex life then, but what’s with that bow on the tail? πŸ˜›

sulz: haha, it wasn’t that long lah. the bow means am very playful in bed and adventurous, perhaps? *waggles eyebrows* haha!

  8. lovelyloey said:

Ha! I chose the long-ish tail with the ribbon. Like that’s supposed to mean anything πŸ˜›

sulz: it means you’re kinky and you like lace.

  9. It said I was an ISPT. And that ISTPs are adventurous and independent. They like to figure out how things work. They have great mechanical and technical skills. They live in the “here and now” which makes them adaptable and spontaneous. They like to keep busy and are action-oriented. ISTPs thrive on new and exciting situations. I can agree with parts of the thing, but you are right about it being like a horoscope. It is just vague enough to fit a lot of notions many different people could have about themselves.

I named my piggy Rascal. It says I am pessimistic and suspicious. Two good personality traits to include in my opinion.

sulz: it’s vague, but it’s nice to read it – it’s like having yourself judged but in a good and impersonal way.

your piggy is rather rascally-looking! and as though it has bovine relations, heh. πŸ˜›

  10. i’m the dreamer! some day i should blog it, eh? just have to find a right angle to it….

sulz: heh, dreamer doesn’t mean procrastinator. πŸ˜›

  11. Hey I knew you were an ISFJ without reading this. I’m an INTP. This one is merely a quiz, but I think it was accurate for you. (The real Jung type personality test is a lot more complicated than that. You can take one professionally with a psychologist.)

sulz: 😦 i’m that transparent, huh? yeah, i thought this was very spot on! though i wish i know what to do with all that information… so what’s bad and good about your personality?
