Familiarity breeds contempt. I think that saying can be true; the longer you get to know someone, the more of the other side you discover. Sometimes, the little things that annoy you can be so many to the point that you do not like the person the way you used to. Things you found quirky at the beginning now becomes a character flaw.
I made many friends through blogging. Some came and went. Some came and have yet to left. ( 🙂 ) Some came and I hope are here to stay for good. 🙂 Whichever kind of friend you think you are, I’m sure there must have been a moment where I might have offended you without realising. A teasing from me, taken the wrong way by you. An offhand comment from me, slighting your feelings. An outright disagreement between the both of us, both hurting each other, neither refusing to apologise.
Well, I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to you if I have offended you in any way, consciously or unconsciously, whether I meant to or not. I hope you could tell me when I had upset you, so that I can realise my mistakes. If you do not feel comfortable saying it in public through commenting, please use the contact form below which sends your comment directly to my e-mail.
I hope you won’t take my mistakes to heart or keep grudges against me. I appreciate you as my friend, and I wouldn’t want our friendship to drift apart because of my wrongs.
