Comments on: "What are the 100 things you want to do before you die?" (23)

  1. Interesting. I am much older than you, yet I have some of the same things on my list. (Travel items, mainly) I made mine about two years ago and titled it “Things I want to do before I die.”

My advice to you: get going! You have no idea how fast the time runs out.

Maybe I’ll post my list on my blog–you’ve inspired me. Thanks.

sulz: am definitely checking yours out! if you send a trackback here am sure others may find it interesting too. ๐Ÿ˜‰ it was very hard to make this post, and am sure in a few year’s time would change self’s mind and not want to do some things on the list.

am getting going after graduation, for the most part, since am not financially capable to do most of the stuff of the list! meanwhile, the ones that am capable of, will try to look for opportunities to do so, of course.

    thanks for your comment! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. nice list, I see we share some travel interest and relationship goals. I’d make a list too, but don’t think I would get to 100….maybe 15 ๐Ÿ™‚

sulz: that’s why it took more than a month to finish it! you can’t think 100 at one go, but you’ll find yourself adding to the list as time goes by. try it! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I could probably help you with a couple of things in your list. For instance, if you start learning Spanish, I’d be happy to help you with that. Or if you come to the States (Southern California to be more specific), I’d be happy to be your guide and take you to some cool places like Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm, Disneyland, and if you like medieval stuff, I’d take you to Medieval Times too.

We have some beautiful National Parks too, like Yosemite Park, or Sequoia National Park. I think you’d probably like those places. ๐Ÿ˜€

sulz: heh, first have to find a class for spanish, otherwise will definitely have no discipline! have seen magic mountain in a documentary about theme parks, except it was a branch in michigan, think. all the places you mention sounds amazing, not to mention expensive! (rm3.50 = usd$1)

wah, if can really go to the us, will take you up on your offer, too late to turn back! ๐Ÿ˜›

  4. Oh dang, I think my previous comment went to your spam list…

    sulz: found it!

  5. The only thing I can think of that I have not done, that I would place on a must do list such as that one, is raise a couple of mini-scoundrels. But I have helped partially raise other’s kids but since my accident I do not think I have the patience to go through the beginning-to-end of raising anymore children, even my own.

sulz: huh, have always sort of imagined you as being married with kids, even though you’ve never mentioned it… well, you could help out at a local orphanage and play daddy once a week or something? ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. I have a several in 43 Things. It’s a site where you list the places you’ve been and want to visit, things you want to do all that ๐Ÿ™‚ http://www.43things.com

sulz: thanks for the link, didn’t know got such a site also!

  7. Heh, I thought too fast.
I have several lists in 43 Things

  8. Wow, I need one of those pictures for Sydney. Very impressive. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve started these lists a couple of times, but I get stuck once I get to about 40. I can’t think of 100 things… read more, publish a novel, achieve world domination…. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’d recommend the British Museum Reading Room, if you’re looking for an overseas library. It’s not the biggest, but it’s an incredible scene when you’re standing in it.

sulz: nice, eh? one for malaysia’s petronas twin towers would be nice too. ๐Ÿ˜‰ world domination? raincoaster would be after you, haha! have seen soooo many gorgeous pictures of fantastic libraries that would probably never be able to visit them all, so one should do. if you’ve seen one you’re supposed to have seen them all, after all! ๐Ÿ˜›

oh lord, that image in your link was pretty damn awesome.

  9. i’d probably take a year to compile something like this.
    better start now, sunshine… [:D]

sulz: you can take as long as you want. that’s why we have the draft feature in our blogs, don’t we? ๐Ÿ˜‰

But the things I want to do keeps changing. Bleah.
